tubman.network e. V.
Description
tubman.network e. V. is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary organization working with children, young people, families, and communities of African and Afro-diasporic descent through education, psychosocial support, advocacy, participatory research, arts and culture, and community-led programs.
Our team brings together educators, researchers, therapists, artists, facilitators, cultural practitioners, and engaged community members, combining professional expertise with lived experience. We develop culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches that promote well-being, access to education, identity development, creative expression, and long-term self-determination.
Our work encompasses psychosocial support, anti-racism education, Afrocentric curriculum development, youth empowerment programs, storytelling, creative workshops, capacity building, advocacy, and international collaborations in the fields of education, community development, and cultural exchange.
Working across Berlin, Germany, and through transnational partnerships, we connect research, practice, and collective knowledge to build sustainable structures of care, participation, and social change.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to creating spaces where individuals and communities can strengthen their voices, develop their potential, preserve and shape their cultural narratives, and actively contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society.
